IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer

As ZENNER India continues to grow, we are looking for a professional, hands-on and proactive IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer to support our day-to-day IT requirements and the further development of our local IT infrastructure. The position serves as the primary local contact for IT matters, working closely with ZENNER Group IT in Germany and external service providers.

• Provide day-to-day IT support to ZENNER India employees, including laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, network connectivity and business applications.
• Install, configure and maintain laptops, workstations, peripherals and standard company software.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, Wi-Fi, LAN and VPN issues.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including equipment preparation and coordination of accounts, access rights and licenses.
• Act as the primary local IT contact between ZENNER India and ZENNER Group IT in Germany.
• Coordinate with external IT suppliers and specialist service providers, including support for new server room and infrastructure implementation.
• Support LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, Wi-Fi access points, firewalls and related network equipment.
• Maintain IT asset registers, hardware inventory, software/license records and technical documentation.
• Support implementation and compliance with Group IT security requirements, including MFA, endpoint protection, access control and backups.

• 2–3 years of practical experience in IT support, infrastructure support, system administration or a similar position.
• Very good spoken and written English communication skills.
• Ability to communicate confidently with international colleagues, particularly ZENNER Group IT in Germany.
• Professional personal presentation and strong interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft 365.
• Practical understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, VPN and basic firewall concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
