Software Testing - Manual QA

Ishan Technologies is seeking an experienced Software QA Engineer based in Ahmedabad to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of web and mobile applications. The role involves comprehensive software testing, defect management, backend validation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive release readiness.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and scripts for web and mobile applications
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, compatibility, and performance testing
• Test REST APIs/Web Services and validate expected responses and integrations
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using bug tracking systems
• Perform database validation and backend testing using SQL/PostgreSQL
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define acceptance criteria
• Prepare and communicate test execution status and quality metrics to management

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing
• B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, EC, or MCA
• Strong expertise in test planning, test scenarios, test cases, and script development
• Familiarity with functional, regression, integration, and API testing
• Knowledge of database validation and SQL/PostgreSQL
• Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium is an added advantage
