QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer-Automation

Validus Fintech Services is seeking a skilled QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and accuracy of our financial technology platforms. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise in manual and automated testing, API validation, and database verification.

• Ensure the reliability and accuracy of financial technology platforms
• Execute manual and automated test suites
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and business requirements
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of financial applications
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Perform API testing and write SQL queries to validate database records and transaction accuracy
• Maintain test documentation, defect reports, and quality metrics using JIRA or TestRail
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers and product managers

• 3+ years (QA Engineer) or 5+ years (Senior QA Engineer) of experience in software testing
• Strong hands-on experience in manual, functional, integration, and regression testing
• Experience in test automation using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools
• Good understanding of API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent tools
• Proficiency in SQL and database testing using PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Experience in defect tracking and test management using JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and software quality best practices
