QA Engineer II

Responsible for owning quality of RealPage’s Smart Water product by building and maintaining automated test suites across the Angular front‑end, C#/.NET services, and ingestion pipeline. The role focuses on CI‑integrated regression, data‑validation, and API tests, driving a shift from manual QA to repeatable automation.

• Build and maintain automated test suites (functional, regression, API, data‑validation) integrated into Azure DevOps CI pipeline
• Write automated UI and API tests across Angular front‑end and C#/.NET services
• Automate data‑integrity checks across the ingestion pipeline for meter reads, usage, cost, loss, and occupancy calculations
• Encode water‑usage anomaly detection scenarios as automated test cases
• Automate verification of onboarding and self‑service workflows to prevent data and configuration defects
• Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce issues, add regression tests, and confirm fixes
• Reserve exploratory/manual testing for genuinely new features and convert findings into automated coverage

• 2+ years in software QA with a strong emphasis on test automation
• Proven experience writing and maintaining automated tests using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress for UI and REST API test frameworks
• Strong SQL skills for automating data validation in MSSQL
• Experience integrating automated tests into a CI/CD workflow (Azure DevOps or similar)
• Hands‑on experience with Claude Code or a similar agentic coding harness (required)
• Demonstrated experience using AI coding agents as part of day‑to‑day development (required)
