Software Engineer - Java Spring

Muthoot FinCorp is hiring a Software Engineer (Java Spring) to join its digital banking technology team in Kochi. You will work on the core banking application, customer-facing APIs, and digital loan processing workflows for one of South India's most trusted financial institutions.

• Develop Java Spring Boot services for loan origination and servicing
• Build REST APIs for mobile banking and digital customer onboarding
• Integrate with CIBIL, credit bureaus, and government identity APIs

• Develop and maintain Spring Boot microservices for loan and banking workflows
• Build RESTful APIs for mobile and digital banking applications
• Write unit tests and ensure code quality standards
• Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint delivery
• Support production issues and bug fixes

• 2-4 years of Java Spring Boot development experience
• Strong MySQL/PostgreSQL skills
• Experience with microservices and REST API development
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and API security practices
• Familiarity with banking or NBFC domain is a plus
• Good understanding of unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)
