Java Developer - Microservices Architecture

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with expertise in microservices architecture to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and cloud-based software solutions for the accounting and auditing industry.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend technologies
• Develop robust and secure backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices
• Build and integrate user-facing features with backend services as part of full-stack development
• Work with relational databases including MySQL and PostgreSQL, ensuring efficient queries and database performance
• Participate in application architecture, technical design, development, and deployment activities
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code following software development best practices
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and engineering practices
• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability and stability
• Work with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development workflows

• Minimum 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Java 8+
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework
• Good experience developing RESTful APIs and web services
• Hands-on experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of SQL, database design, joins, indexing, and query optimization
• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React.js or Angular
• Good understanding of Git/GitHub and version control practices
