Senior Software Engineer - Java Full stack with AI

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its B&MI Technology development team focusing on Enterprise Application Development using the Java tech stack and Angular/React. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and delivering scalable, secure cloud architectures, collaborating with business partners, and ensuring zero downtime in production.

• Support the technical lead in overall architecture, design, and producing high-quality code.
• Participate in gathering business requirements and ensure software designs align with Enterprise Architecture.
• Ensure software and system design and delivery support the goal of zero downtime in production.
• Design, develop, test, deliver, and monitor scalable and secure cloud architectures using AWS.
• Provide functional guidance, advice, and training to other application developers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience with 7+ years of industry experience.
• Strong experience in Full Stack Java development using J2EE, Java 8 or higher, Spring 5, Hibernate, and backend service development.
• Proven expertise in building and consuming Web Services and developing scalable, high-performance applications.
• Experience working with frontend technologies such as React or Angular, along with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience in cloud-native application development using platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and AI-powered development tools.
