Design, build, and maintain data engineering solutions on Google Cloud for IBM Consulting, focusing on batch and real‑time pipelines, data migration, and data layer design.
- Design and develop batch and real‑time data pipelines for Data Warehouse and Data Lake.
- Build and maintain solutions using DataProc, DataFlow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, BigTable, and Cloud Composer.
- Schedule and manage platform operations with Cloud Scheduler and Cloud Composer (Airflow).
- Develop data migration solutions ensuring seamless transfer between systems.
- Optimize data layer using BigQuery, BigTable, and Cloud Spanner for efficient storage and retrieval.
- Expertise in Google Cloud services: DataProc, DataFlow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, BigTable, Cloud Spanner, Cloud SQL, AlloyDB.
- Experience with data pipeline tools: Apache Beam, Spark, Hadoop, dbt.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Scala for data engineering.
- Knowledge of data migration and data layer design.
