Cloud Managed Services Engineer (L3)

The Cloud Managed Services Engineer (L3) at NTT DATA is responsible for proactively managing cloud‑based incidents and problems, ensuring zero SLA violations, and providing high‑complexity support across multiple platforms. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining VMware, Windows, Linux, and storage infrastructures, coordinating with vendors, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to projects such as disaster recovery and automation.

• Configure, install, test, and maintain client infrastructure at the site
• Apply monitoring tools, respond to alerts, and log incidents with required detail
• Analyze, assign, and escalated support calls; identify root causes of incidents and problems
• Coordinate with 3rd‑party vendors for issue escalation and resolution
• Provide onsite technical support and field engineering services to clients
• Conduct monthly random reviews of incidents and service requests; recommend quality improvements
• Identify opportunities for work optimization and automation
• Manage and implement projects within the technology domain, ensuring delivery per client timelines
• Implement and test disaster recovery functions and plans

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computing or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in managed services within a medium to large ICT organization
• Strong ITIL process knowledge
• Proficiency with VMware vSphere (6.0–7), ESXi, vCenter, SRM, vROps, vCloud Director, and UCS Cisco servers
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux Server, and enterprise storage (Pure, EMC, NetApp, Dell, HP)
• Hands‑on experience with VMware Converter, DRS, HA, and disaster recovery tools such as Zerto, Veeam, Rubrik
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, GCP, and OCI cloud platforms
• Valid certifications such as VMware Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, or equivalent
