Cloud Managed Services Engineer (L3)

Cloud Managed Services Engineer (L3) at NTT DATA will lead proactive incident management and resolution for cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring SLA compliance and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities include configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing client environments across VMware, Windows, Linux, and storage platforms, as well as managing disaster recovery and vendor interactions.

• Ensure client infrastructure is configured, installed, tested, and operational.
• Perform necessary checks, apply monitoring tools, and respond to alerts.
• Identify problems and log incidents with required detail.
• Analyze, assign, and escalate support calls.
• Report and escalates issues to 3rd party vendors when needed.
• Provide onsite technical support and field engineering services.
• Conduct monthly random reviews of incidents and service requests.
• Recommend quality improvements based on review findings.
• Provide continuous feedback to clients and update systems as prescribed.
• Identify opportunities for work optimization and automation.
• Manage and implement projects within the technology domain.
• Implement and deliver Disaster Recovery functions and tests.
• Perform any other related tasks as required.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology/Computing
• Seasoned experience in managed services within an ICT organization
• Proficiency with VMware vSphere (6.0-7), vSAN, SRM, vROps, vCloud Director, and related tools
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux Server, UCS, Cisco, HPE, Dell hardware
• Experience with storage technologies (SAN/NAS, Pure, EMC, NetApp, ZFS, NFS, iSCSI, FC)
• Certifications such as VMware Certified Professional, Microsoft Azure Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, etc.
