Hybrid Cloud Engineer

HH Global is seeking a Hybrid Cloud Engineer to deploy, maintain, and optimize our hybrid cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, high availability, and superior performance of our hybrid cloud solutions across Azure, VMware, and on-premise environments.

• Plan, implement, and manage the deployment of hybrid cloud infrastructure utilizing on-premises and cloud resources
• Configure, monitor, and optimize virtualized environments including virtual machines, containers, and microservices
• Implement security best practices, identity and access management, encryption, and vulnerability assessments
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management tasks using infrastructure-as-code tools
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and participate in IT on-call and patching rotas
• Support the 3rd Line BAU Team, handling incident calls, escalations, and root cause analysis
• Assist with hybrid virtual machine builds, endpoint configuration, and network traffic management

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience in infrastructure engineering or related IT roles
• Solid understanding of hybrid cloud concepts, virtualization, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Solid understanding of VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure HCI technologies
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts including VPN, VPC, subnets, and security groups
• Experience managing and supporting Windows and Linux operating systems
