Cloud and Server Engineer

Responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing server infrastructure and cloud environments across Windows and Linux platforms. Ensures high availability, security, and performance of IT services through monitoring, patching, backup, and disaster recovery operations.

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Monitor server performance, availability, and resource utilization
• Perform server patching, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery operations
• Configure and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V
• Implement security policies, access controls, and server hardening
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, server performance, and infrastructure issues
• Maintain technical documentation, server configurations, and incident reports
• Collaborate with networking, security, and application teams to resolve technical issues

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls
• Experience with virtualization and storage management (VMware, Hyper‑V)
• Knowledge of backup solutions, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• Familiarity with cloud security, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting
• Basic scripting knowledge using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
