Associate/Senior Associate, Application Developer(ReactJS Frontend Developer), Consumer Banking Group Technology

We are seeking a ReactJS Frontend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high‑performance web applications for the Consumer Banking Group at DBS Bank. The role involves building modern UI components, optimizing performance, and collaborating across teams to deliver robust digital banking experiences.

• Design, develop, and maintain React components and micro‑frontend modules
• Implement performance optimizations and ensure accessibility compliance
• Integrate APIs and manage state across complex applications
• Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and product teams on architecture and deployment
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration) and participate in TDD practices
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues across web and mobile platforms
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews
• Contribute to engineering productivity initiatives and AI‑assisted development practices

• Minimum 4+ years of frontend development experience
• Expertise in React (v17–v19) with Functional Components, Hooks, and modern architecture patterns
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, and state management (Redux, Redux Saga, Zustand, Context API)
• Experience with Micro Frontends, Module Federation, and SPA architecture
• Proficiency in UI performance optimization, lazy loading, code splitting, and responsive design
• Hands‑on testing with Jest, Playwright, and React Testing Library
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, and JIRA
• Knowledge of observability tools such as AppDynamics or ELK
