Senior QA Engineer - Duckcreek Claims

Senior QA Engineer responsible for leading functional and automated testing of Duck Creek Claims software in Hyderabad. Collaborates with product and development teams to design test plans, develop Playwright scripts, integrate CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high quality releases.

• Design test cases based on acceptance criteria and complex software requirements
• Develop and execute automated test suites using Playwright
• Perform multiple cycles of application testing to meet all requirements
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to testing standards
• Coordinate with downstream and upstream teams to validate changes across workflows
• Support UAT teams during final business validations
• Conduct pilot testing and optimize new or modified applications
• Participate in test code/script reviews and provide feedback
• Engage in creation of test plans and discussions on test strategy
• Improve testing processes and methodologies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related STEM field (or equivalent experience)
• 6–12 years of functional and automated testing experience
• 4+ years working with Duck Creek Claims product and implementations
• Proficiency in Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, and API testing (RESTful)
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and Git workflows
• Experience with SQL for database testing
• Familiarity with AI tools for testing productivity
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience
