Citi is seeking an experienced Business and Data Analysis Lead to play a pivotal role in the firm-wide implementation of the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) Internal Model Approach (IMA). This leadership position bridges the gap between complex regulatory requirements, quantitative modeling, and technology execution.
- Act as the lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Market Risk regulations, primarily FRTB IMA
- Author detailed business and functional requirement documents specifying logic for risk calculations and data transformations
- Define the end-to-end data strategy, sourcing, lineage, quality controls, and validation rules
- Perform deep-dive data analysis using SQL, Python, or Pandas
- Lead collaboration between senior stakeholders in Risk Management, Front Office, Quantitative Analytics, and Technology
- 12-15 years of experience in business analysis and market risk domain
- Excellent knowledge of financial products and market risk
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases
- Analytical modeling of Market Risk VaR methodologies
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience (Master's preferred)
