Information Technology Business Analyst

Dexian seeks an experienced IT Business Analyst to lead the Part Compliance Dashboard initiative, translating regulatory and business requirements into functional specifications, supporting data analysis, dashboard development, and production support.

• Serve as primary liaison between business users and technical teams for the Part Compliance Dashboard.
• Lead end-to-end functional requirements definition with stakeholders and IT delivery teams.
• Utilize Python to perform data analysis, automate validation, and support reporting processes for regulatory compliance datasets.
• Facilitate structured requirements-gathering sessions with Compliance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Regulatory stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs) with process flows, data requirements, business rules, and dependencies.
• Translate regulatory and business needs into functional specifications for design, development, and testing.
• Act as liaison to clarify requirements, resolve gaps, and manage changes throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support design and evolution of dashboards, metrics, and visualizations for compliance status, risk, trends, and regulatory insights.
• Collaborate with IT teams on data sourcing, integrations, and transformations from upstream systems such as PLM, ERP, and supplier data.
• Define data standards, attributes, and validation rules for regulated substances.
• Validate delivered solutions through functional testing, data validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide ongoing production support and recommend continuous improvements to the dashboard.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role, supporting enterprise applications or reporting solutions.
• Proficient in Python for data analysis, validation, and automation using libraries such as Pandas.
• Strong knowledge of relational database concepts, SQL, and data modeling.
• Experience eliciting, analyzing, and translating business and regulatory requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Experience supporting compliance, reporting, or data-driven solutions, especially product or part-level data.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or SAFe delivery models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across Compliance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders.
• Fluent in English.
