Sr QA Automation Engineer (CE78ST RM 4573)

Senior QA Automation Engineer with 7–8 years of experience in iOS, Web, API, and Database automation. Responsible for building scalable automation frameworks, developing end‑to‑end test scenarios, integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting issues across application layers.

• Design, develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for iOS, Web, API and Database testing
• Develop and execute Web automation scripts using Playwright or Selenium
• Build API automation suites for REST services using Python/pytest, Postman/Newman, Rest Assured or equivalent
• Perform database testing and data validation using SQL
• Develop end‑to‑end automation scenarios covering Web → iOS → API/Backend → Database workflows
• Build reusable automation components, utilities, libraries and test‑data management solutions
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or equivalent
• Analyze automation failures using logs, API responses, database records, screenshots and reports to identify root causes
• Continuously improve automation coverage, framework reliability, scalability and execution efficiency
• Conduct automation code reviews, establish coding standards and mentor fellow QA engineers

• 7–8 years of overall software testing experience
• Hands‑on iOS automation using Appium, XCUITest or equivalent
• Web automation using Playwright, Selenium or equivalent
• REST API automation using Python/pytest, Postman/Newman, Rest Assured or equivalent
• Proficiency in SQL and database validation
• Strong programming and automation framework development skills
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Ability to troubleshoot and identify issues across mobile, web, API, backend, and database layers
