Insight Direct India is seeking a Software Engineer with strong backend development expertise in Java and Spring Boot. The role involves building scalable APIs, handling batch processing, managing SQL and NoSQL databases, and leveraging AI-powered development tools.
- Develop and maintain backend software and APIs using Java and Spring ecosystems
- Implement efficient background jobs, data handling strategies, and batch processing
- Design and query SQL and MongoDB/NoSQL databases
- Utilize AI-powered code generation tools throughout the software development lifecycle
- 6+ years of experience in backend software development using Java and/or Kotlin
- Experience with Spring Boot and/or Quarkus
- Experience with ORM/ODM frameworks and object-to-database mapping concepts
- Practical experience implementing background jobs and batch processing using Spring Batch, Spring transactions, or a BPMN engine
- Solid knowledge and experience working SQL and MongoDB/NoSQL, including data modeling and queries
- Mandatory hands-on experience using AI-powered tools for code generation as part of the software development process
