Senior Full Stack Engineer - Assistant Vice President

This is a hands‑on role for a senior engineer who leads by building. The role involves leading engineering on a multi‑year programme to modernise and migrate a large portfolio of middle‑office applications to AWS, writing production code across the full stack with a primary focus on backend (Java back‑ends, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines). The engineer will also set up and run the programme’s AI‑augmented delivery model, using AI agents and assistants to accelerate discovery and code conversion.

• Lead engineering efforts for modernising and migrating legacy applications to AWS
• Write production code across the full stack, primarily backend services
• Design, implement and maintain DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Set up and manage AI‑augmented delivery models using AI agents and assistants
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful delivery of the multi‑year programme

• Senior engineer experience with Java backend development
• Experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services
• Familiarity with AI agents or similar AI‑augmented delivery tools
