Senior Cloud Engineer – AWS Platform

FIS is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to help design, build, and operate secure, resilient, and scalable AWS cloud platforms for the financial technology sector.

• Design and maintain secure AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Operate containerised workloads on Amazon EKS using Kubernetes and Helm.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and automate operational processes.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and robust observability across environments.

• Design, provision, and maintain secure and scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Deploy and operate containerised workloads on Amazon EKS using Kubernetes and Helm.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Establish and improve observability across infrastructure and applications, including metrics, logs, and alerts.
• Participate in production incident management, perform root-cause analysis, and lead post-incident reviews.
• Implement high availability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions for AWS workloads.

• 9 to 14 years of overall experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE with strong hands-on AWS experience.
• Strong practical experience with Terraform and reusable Infrastructure as Code patterns.
• Knowledge of Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking, VPCs, and security controls like IAM and KMS.
• Hands-on automation and configuration management experience using Ansible, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux and Windows Server environments.
