QA Engineer Int - Manual, Integration Testing + Functional Testing, Jenkins, Git, Web Application Testing (BYDS)

QA Engineer responsible for manual and integration testing across web and desktop applications. Designs test plans, executes functional and regression tests, manages defects in JIRA, collaborates with cross‑functional teams, and gradually adopts automation using Test Complete within CI/CD pipelines.

• Design, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts for web and desktop applications
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, system, and exploratory testing
• Identify integration defects and collaborate with developers to resolve cross‑system issues efficiently
• Ensure software meets business, technical, and compliance requirements
• Log, track, and manage defects through resolution using JIRA or similar tools
• Perform root cause analysis, collaborate with developers on fixes, and suggest preventive improvements
• Ensure data consistency and reliability across integrated workflows
• Verify security controls and assist in vulnerability testing initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation and traceability matrices to support audit readiness
• Communicate release readiness to product and development stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and security teams in an Agile environment
• Take part in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives
• Drive continuous improvement of QA processes and standards
• Gradually expand into test automation using Test Complete, including support for CI/CD integration

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
• 4‑6 years of QA experience with strong proficiency in both manual and automated testing
• Experience with Selenium, Katalon, Test Complete and JavaScript (good to have)
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC and Agile methodologies
• Proven experience in integration testing across applications, modules and systems
• Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases and defect documentation
• Strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail and excellent communication
• Basic scripting knowledge in Java, JavaScript or Python
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA and TestRail
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins and Git
