QA Engineer II | Bangalore, IN

Toast is a rapidly growing SaaS product company building an all-in-one restaurant management software platform. We are looking for a QA Engineer II to join our team in Bangalore, focusing on building impactful capabilities that empower restaurants to drive guest engagement, retention, and growth through automated and AI-powered tools.

• Collaborating with Product, Design, and Development stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Creating and implementing comprehensive test plans and participating in strategy reviews.
• Testing new features and regressions across a suite of hardware and software products.
• Creating defects, assigning priorities and severities, and assisting teams with triage and debugging.
• Increasing automation test case coverage by developing reusable scripts and bringing test efficiency to release testing.
• Actively contributing to product design and roadmap discussions from a quality perspective.

• 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Solid understanding of test strategies and methodologies, including API testing using Postman, web application testing, and automated testing using Selenium or Playwright.
• Strong familiarity with Test Automation frameworks for backend and frontend tech stacks.
• Ability to design and deliver test plans for significant components, features, or applications.
• Understanding and hands-on experience with testing fintech or payments products and services is a plus.
