Senior data engineer responsible for designing and building data pipelines and real‑time APIs using Python and AWS services, with AI capabilities.
- Design and build scalable data pipelines using Python and AWS services
- Develop and maintain real‑time APIs for data integration
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (SSO, OAuth)
- Work with vector databases and embeddings to support RAG use cases
- Manage event‑driven architecture using AWS services
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python programming
- Hands‑on experience with AWS native services (Lambda, Step Functions, Textract, Bedrock, S3, SQS, SNS, API Gateway)
- Experience building RESTful APIs with Flask
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization (SSO, OAuth, Entra)
- Experience with vector databases and embeddings for Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Experience with Amazon RDS PostgreSQL
