Python Developer – Distributed Systems (India)

Techolution is looking for a Python Backend Engineer with hands-on experience in distributed systems and event-driven architecture to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and data processing workflows.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and REST APIs using Python and frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
• Build and maintain distributed backend services, handling service communication, concurrent requests, and fault tolerance.
• Design and implement event-driven workflows using message brokers or event streaming platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Implement asynchronous operations, background jobs, scheduled tasks, and task queues using asyncio or Celery.
• Develop data processing workflows to extract, transform, validate, and load data while maintaining accuracy and reliability.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, manage database interactions, and integrate with relational databases like PostgreSQL or AlloyDB.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing backend applications and REST APIs using Python, preferably with FastAPI or Flask.
• Practical understanding of distributed services, service-to-service communication, fault tolerance, and failure handling.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven workflows, message producers/consumers, and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of asyncio, async/await, concurrent execution, and non-blocking I/O.
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL, AlloyDB, or another relational database.
• Familiarity with Docker and basic exposure to AWS or GCP environments.
