As part of the Oracle Health and Analytics Cloud Performance Engineering team, you will be a key technical leader focused on optimizing Performance, Scalability, Availability, and Reliability for Oracle’s mission-critical Cloud Services.
Your role covers all software development lifecycle stages from a performance perspective: architectural and design reviews, benchmarking, sizing, and resolving production performance issues to maximize customer satisfaction and success.
- Conduct architectural and design reviews, benchmarking, sizing, and resolve production performance issues
- Champion service reliability and efficiency, manage system changes, monitor infrastructure, and plan capacity
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in close partnership with Development Leads/Architects
- Lead initiatives at the technological forefront and recommend transformative changes to existing systems
- Mentor team members on optimization, technical consulting, and adherence to architectural standards
- 7+ years of software engineering or related experience
- Strong understanding of cloud computing and enterprise software architecture
- Proficient with Java/J2EE and Python/Shell scripting
- Experience in microservices architecture and load testing tools like JMeter
- In-depth knowledge of Linux, Docker, virtualization, and networking
- Experience in Database SQL analysis and tuning using AWR reports
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
