Microsoft 365 Cloud Engineer

A Cloud Engineer II – M365 at Insight Enterprises provides advanced support for Microsoft 365 services across multiple regions, troubleshooting complex issues related to user access, permissions, and configurations. The role involves administering Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams, configuring security measures such as MFA, DLP, and SSO, managing Azure AD features, and handling mobile device management. The engineer also participates in security incident response, optimizes audio/video conferencing, and automates tasks using PowerShell.

• Provide escalated support for complex Microsoft 365 issues reported by Level 1 and end users
• Administer and optimize Microsoft Exchange Online, including mailbox management and mail flow configurations
• Implement and maintain email security measures such as anti‑phishing and anti‑malware settings
• Design and implement advanced configurations in SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business
• Resolve complex SharePoint site and document access issues and manage permissions
• Configure advanced Microsoft Teams settings, channel management, and integration with other services
• Optimize audio/video conferencing, meetings, and guest access management in Teams
• Implement and manage Azure AD Premium features, SSO, and MFA
• Configure and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and Information Governance
• Participate in security incident response and investigations
• Configure and optimize Mobile Device Management (MDM) policies and troubleshoot device connectivity

• Level 2 support experience with Microsoft 365 services
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation
• Certifications MS-100, MS-101, and ITILv4 highly desirable
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills
