Java backend Developer- Assistant Vice President

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

• Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, and applications development.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems and evaluate business and system processes.
• Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis of business usage.
• Consult with users and other technology groups on issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.

• 6-10 years of proven experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Expert-level proficiency in modern Java technologies, including Core Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring Microservices, and RESTful API design.
• Extensive experience in architectural design and development of integrated enterprise-grade solutions.
• Hands-on experience with high-throughput messaging platforms, such as Solace or Kafka.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
