IT Support Engineer – L2

This role is an L2 IT Support Engineer responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across Windows and Linux environments, managing Active Directory, servers, and network devices, and supporting remote and onsite users. The engineer will handle system upgrades, patching, and performance monitoring, collaborate with vendors, and contribute to IT projects.

• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software including ADDS, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, SCCM, and other application servers.
• Manage Windows Server 2022, 2019, 2016, 2012R2 and Hyper‑V environments.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and installations.
• Administer Active Directory (forests, domains, FSMO roles, group policies, backup/restore).
• Provide VPN and remote office support.
• Manage domain accounts and group policies.
• Analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes.
• Develop and implement solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
• Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
• Handle complex technical issues not resolved by L1 support and collaborate with vendors and external teams.
• Maintain knowledge of Windows/Linux, virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V), storage (SAN/NAS), WiFi/AP configuration, firewall and network protocols.

• 3+ years of experience in technical support, desktop support, or IT help desk roles
• Any degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent)
• Relevant technical certifications are a plus
• Proven experience troubleshooting printers, desktops, and laptops
