Field Support Engineer - Entry Level

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Cross Technology Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L1) to provide professional first-line remote and onsite technical support and field engineering services in Mumbai. The role involves proactively identifying, logging, and resolving technical incidents to ensure zero missed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Provide first-line remote and onsite technical support and field engineering services.
• Manage standard and low complexity incidents, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and third-party vendors to diagnose and resolve issues.

• Ensure assigned client infrastructure is configured, installed, tested, and operational.
• Proactively identify and log problems and errors in a timely manner.
• Investigate first-line support calls, identify root causes, and follow knowledge articles for resolution.
• Respond to alerts and escalate unresolved issues to L2 Field Engineers.
• Follow handover procedures for shift changes to ensure service continuity.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computing, or a related field.
• Associate-level certification in Data Centre or Networking technologies (such as CCNA, JNCIA, etc.).
• Entry-level experience in collaboration technologies (Call managers, Voice Gateways, VOIP, IP Telephony) and technical support.
• Basic understanding of network routing and switching, troubleshooting, and diagnosis.
