Data Analyst(SQL,Power BI) in a US based Co

We are seeking a Data Analyst to collaborate with product and leadership teams, turn business requirements into metric definitions, and drive impactful ad-hoc analyses. In this role, you will work extensively with PostgreSQL and BI tools to maintain a single source of truth for key metrics.

• Collaborate with Product and leadership teams to understand requirements and define clear metrics
• Explore and document PostgreSQL data models, tables, and relationships
• Write efficient, well-structured SQL queries to pull and shape data for reporting
• Build, maintain, and improve dashboards in BI tools to keep them accurate and fast
• Run ad-hoc analyses to answer business and product questions, tracking product usage and trends
• Validate data quality, flag inconsistencies, and present findings with clear recommendations

• Bachelor's degree in a core engineering discipline, mathematics, statistics, or construction management
• Strong SQL expertise including joins, aggregations, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions (PostgreSQL experience is a plus)
• Hands-on experience building dashboards in at least one BI tool such as Superset, Power BI, Tableau, or Metabase
• Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical and logical thinking
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain data to non-technical stakeholders
