Intern - Data Analyst

Amber is looking for an AI Data Analyst Intern to work on real analytical projects for business, operations, and product teams using AI tools as a core part of the workflow. You will write and optimize SQL queries, build dashboards, and use AI assistants to move faster while validating every result.

• Own project-specific analyses for business, operations, or product teams
• Write, debug, and optimize SQL queries using AI assistants and validate results
• Build and maintain dashboards in Tableau / Power BI to track key metrics and trends
• Use AI chatbots and AI coding tools to explore data, automate reporting, and prototype tools
• Find patterns, gaps, and opportunities in data and turn them into clear recommendations
• Present insights to stakeholders in a clear, structured way
• Document prompts, workflows, and automations for team reuse

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on SQL (joins, aggregations, window functions)
• Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and Tableau and/or Power BI
• Regular, hands-on use of AI chatbots for real work
• Basic experience with at least one AI coding tool or agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, or similar)
• Experience building something using AI (app, script, dashboard, automation, or analysis)
• Habit of checking AI output against source data
• Ability to work independently and meet timelines
