Cloud Infrastructure Team Lead

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Team Lead to design, build and operate a scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient cloud platform for Conversive (SMS Magic). The role blends hands‑on cloud engineering with DevOps and SRE practices, leading platform decisions and driving automation, reliability, performance and scalability.

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure
• Own the availability, reliability, and performance of production systems
• Drive infrastructure architecture decisions aligned with business and engineering goals
• Manage cloud environments across development, staging, and production
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Implement cloud security best practices including IAM, network segmentation, and secrets management
• Ensure infrastructure complies with security and regulatory standards
• Monitor and optimize cloud cost, utilization, and performance efficiency
• Implement autoscaling strategies and resource optimization techniques
• Improve developer productivity by building automation tools and internal platforms
• Provide visibility into infrastructure usage, performance, and cost trends
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure scalable and reliable system design

• Strong experience in cloud infrastructure and platform engineering
• Deep expertise in AWS services across compute, storage, networking, and monitoring
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS)
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems and networking fundamentals
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Strong understanding of observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.)
• Knowledge of distributed systems and high‑availability architecture patterns
• Experience managing large‑scale SaaS platforms or distributed systems
• Exposure to multi‑region or multi‑cloud architectures
• Experience with cloud security practices, compliance frameworks, and governance models
• Knowledge of databases, caching, and messaging systems (MySQL, Redis, Kafka, Redshift, etc.)
