The Infotainment unit at BMW TechWorks is responsible for developing, maintaining, and deploying the BMW infotainment platform and infotainment ECUs across multiple generations. The platform spans both Android and Linux (Yocto) based software platforms, providing common automotive functions and handling cross-cutting concerns like architecture, security, stability, and performance.
- Develop, maintain, and deploy the BMW infotainment platform and infotainment ECUs
- Work on cross-cutting platform concerns including architecture, security, stability, and performance
- Support CI toolchain development and CI tools for software delivery
- Experience with Android and/or Linux (Yocto) software platforms
- Background in software development and CI toolchain processes
