Associate DevOps Engineer

Applied Systems India is seeking an Associate DevOps Engineer to support product development teams and user bases across the US, UK, Canada, and India. You will help maintain build, source control, release, and deployment tooling, working closely with development, QA, and cloud teams in an Agile environment to build and maintain development and test environments for insurance software products.

• Complete defined tasks with guidance to support the team with development and debugging
• Help set up and maintain CI/CD build configurations, build agents, and pipelines
• Help install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot development and test environments, including application servers and SQL Server databases
• Create repositories, release branches, and access permissions following company standards
• Complete assigned tasks that support automation, such as scripting routine environment and deployment steps
• Take part in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related area
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• Foundational knowledge of software engineering principles and practices
• Experience with coding and scripting such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Basic knowledge of monitoring tools and an understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and public cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure
