Azure Cloud Engineer - AI/Data Platform

A senior Azure Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure for AI and data platforms. The role focuses on automating deployments, managing security, and collaborating with data science and AI teams to deliver governed AI landing zones.

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure using GCP/Azure services.
• Develop automated deployment pipelines using IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and CDK.
• Implement and manage security practices including IAM, network security, and encryption.
• Provision and manage Azure AI and data platform components (Microsoft Fabric, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio).
• Collaborate with data science, AI engineering, MLOps, and data teams to design and deliver governed AI landing zones.
• Leverage agentic AI tools and AI‑assisted engineering practices to enhance productivity and cost optimization.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, architecture or infrastructure roles.
• Proven experience with GCP and Azure services (Compute, Storage, SQL, IAM, Networking).
• Hands‑on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and CDK.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Gitlab CI/CD, Jenkins) and monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and cloud security frameworks.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
