DAZN is seeking a strong Android Engineer to join the Product Technology team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, bridging business requirements and technical delivery using modern Android development practices.
- Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin
- Work with Android architecture patterns such as MVVM and established coding practices
- Develop UI using XML and/or Jetpack Compose
- Work with Kotlin Coroutines and basic Flow concepts for asynchronous operations
- Integrate Android applications with REST APIs and JSON
- Debug application crashes, logs, and common performance issues
- Participate in code reviews, testing, bug fixing, and release activities
- Collaborate with product, design, QA, and backend teams
- Good fundamentals in Kotlin and Android development
- Basic understanding of MVVM / Clean Architecture
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose is preferred
- Experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and dependency injection (Hilt or Dagger)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
