Android Senior Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high‑quality Android applications for Cognizant’s clients. The role requires deep knowledge of modern Android frameworks, clean architecture patterns, and integration with backend services.
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java
- Implement UI/UX following Material Design guidelines
- Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and handle JSON data
- Apply MVVM & MVI architectural patterns for scalable code
- Use Git for version control and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure mobile security best practices and optimize performance
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java
- Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and Material Design guidelines
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON for mobile integration
- Familiarity with MVVM & MVI architectures
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of mobile security best practices and performance optimization
