EY is seeking a Backend Development Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable backend platforms using .NET, Azure, and modern API architectures. This role combines technical leadership, team management, and delivery ownership to build enterprise-grade solutions.
- Lead the design and architecture of scalable backend systems and microservices
- Oversee development of RESTful APIs and backend services
- Lead deployment and management of backend services on Azure App Services
- Manage and mentor a team of backend developers and senior engineers
- Own end-to-end backend delivery for multiple projects or programs
- Robust experience in C#, .NET Core, and Web API development
- Deep understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
- Expertise in API security (OAuth2, JWT)
- Strong experience with SQL Server / Azure SQL databases
- Hands-on experience with Azure services
- Proven experience managing engineering teams (5–15 members typical)
