SW QA Engineer - Engineering Simulation ( HyperMesh )

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a Software QA Engineer to validate and automate testing for its HyperMesh engineering software. The role involves designing functional, integration, regression, and performance tests, developing automation scripts in Python or Tcl/Tk, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality releases.

• Validate engineering software through functional, integration, regression, stress, and performance tests
• Develop comprehensive test scenarios covering pre‑processing, post‑processing, and design validation
• Create, maintain, and enhance automated tests using Python/Tcl/Tk and frameworks like Pytest, Ranorex, Selenium
• Analyze test failures, logs, and application behavior to identify root causes and verify fixes
• Identify automation opportunities, reuse test assets, and explore AI‑assisted testing approaches
• Champion quality by reviewing requirements, user stories, and design documents
• Collaborate with QA, development, DevOps, product management, and application engineering teams

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
• 2–3 years of technical experience in CAE or engineering software
• Practical knowledge of CAE pre‑processing and/or post‑processing workflows, preferably HyperMesh
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Tcl/Tk
• Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks such as Pytest, Ranorex, Selenium
• Understanding of software testing fundamentals (design, execution, regression, defect reporting)
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills
