Sr. SW Engineer (3 - 5 years of exp in Python, AI & Agentic Automation)

Corporate Reliability Engineering at Visa is advancing an engineering-first model focused on reliability, automation, quality, security, and proactive operations. This role works directly with core infrastructure, database, network, and security teams to design, build, test, deploy, and support secure AI, agentic automation, API, and reliability solutions across enterprise environments.

• Design and deliver AI/ML applications, LLM-enabled solutions, RAG, agentic workflows, and automation frameworks.
• Build intelligent capabilities for incident triage, knowledge retrieval, service-health analysis, and root-cause investigation.
• Automate workflows across Windows, Linux/Unix, database, and network operations through scripting and secure API integrations.
• Engineer for reliability through testing, exception handling, rollback, observability, and telemetry.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in software development, automation engineering, AI/ML engineering, or reliability engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and one or more of PowerShell, Bash, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, agent frameworks, and orchestration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
