Specialist, Software Engineer Guidewire Insurancenow- India

Nationwide is seeking a Specialist, Software Engineer to advance and support Guidewire InsuranceNow solutions across critical policy management capabilities. You will play a key role in designing, configuring, developing, testing, and deploying scalable technology solutions while collaborating with global agile teams.

• Analyze, design, configure, develop, test, debug, document, and deploy Guidewire solutions according to engineering standards.
• Configure and enhance Guidewire workflows, rules, product model components, and integrations.
• Develop and support integrations using APIs, messaging, batch processes, and data exchange patterns.
• Troubleshoot defects, performance issues, and production support items for timely resolution.
• Partner with product, QA, and architecture teams to deliver scalable, high-quality technology solutions.

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent technology experience/certificates).
• 6+ years of overall technology experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with Guidewire applications, configurations, or integrations.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud computing, software security, and systems integration.
