Senior Software Developer - Python & PHP (GCP)

Quantiphi Analytics Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Developer with strong expertise in Python, PHP, and GCP to own backend and infrastructure architecture, design APIs, and lead technical initiatives in a hybrid work environment.

• Own backend and infrastructure architecture and document key technical decisions
• Define and maintain engineering standards for backend code, infrastructure, security, and deployment
• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and PHP
• Design and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs
• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP
• Build and manage containerised environments using Docker and set up CI/CD pipelines
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and lead incident response

• Proven senior-level experience as a backend developer with commercial experience in Python and PHP
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP or other major cloud providers
• Practical experience with Docker and containerised application deployment
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Solid knowledge of cloud security best practices
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Strong experience designing and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs
• Experience implementing SSO and authentication using OAuth 2, OpenID Connect, and SAML
