Senior Platform Engineer – SRE

Pine Labs is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer for SRE to ensure 99.99% availability of the merchant payment platform across 500,000+ POS terminals and e-commerce integrations used by India's largest retailers.

• Define SLOs and error budgets for all payment-critical services
• Lead P1 incident command for merchant payment outages
• Build automated self-healing and failover mechanisms
• Run quarterly chaos engineering exercises for payment services
• Drive cloud cost optimisation while maintaining reliability
• Mentor junior SREs on reliability engineering principles

• 6+ years SRE or platform engineering experience
• AWS multi-region reliability architecture
• Kubernetes and container orchestration at scale
• Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty observability stack
• Go or Python for reliability tooling
• Chaos engineering: Chaos Monkey or Gremlin
• Fintech or payment system reliability experience
