Senior Machine Learning Engineer – Network AI

Nokia India's AI/ML Centre of Excellence is hiring a Senior ML Engineer to build autonomous network management AI — self-optimising RAN, predictive fault management, and network slice intelligence — for Nokia AVA cognitive network platform.

• Build autonomous RAN optimisation ML models for Nokia AVA
• Develop predictive fault detection models from network PM counter data
• Implement reinforcement learning for self-optimising network policies
• Deploy models to Nokia AVA production platform serving 100+ operators
• Publish Nokia AI research at ICCW, GLOBECOM, and IEEE conferences
• Mentor junior ML engineers on telecom AI techniques

• 5+ years ML engineering with time-series or telecom data experience
• Deep learning for time-series: LSTM, Transformer, and TCN models
• Reinforcement learning for network policy optimisation
• Python: PyTorch and scikit-learn
• Kafka and Spark for telecom network data pipelines
• Kubernetes and MLflow for ML platform and model management
