Senior Cloud Engineer (Python + Cloud + Microservices + DevOps role)

Tekskills Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain optimal cloud-based solutions. You will work within a project scrum team to ensure application performance, scalability, and security across Azure and AWS environments while driving modern DevOps practices.

• Design and implement optimal cloud-based solutions for the company
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale while maintaining high standards for code quality
• Modify and improve existing systems and infrastructure
• Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

• Degree in computer science or a similar field
• 5-7 years of experience in architecting, designing, and developing cloud solutions in Azure or AWS
• Strong proficiency in Python and REST API development
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy scripts
