React Developer - Startup

Airmeet is hiring a React Developer to build the frontend of its virtual events platform. You will work on high-impact features like live session streaming UI, networking lounges, sponsor booths, and event analytics dashboards used by customers including Microsoft, Cisco, and Salesforce.

This is a high-ownership role in a 100-person startup where you will ship features weekly and directly see the impact of your work through customer feedback and product metrics.

• Build React-based event streaming and networking UI components
• Implement real-time attendee interaction features using WebSockets
• Develop event analytics dashboards with interactive charts and filters

• Build and ship frontend features for Airmeet's events platform
• Implement real-time networking and audience interaction features
• Optimize performance for large virtual event audiences (1000+ concurrent)
• Write automated tests and maintain code quality standards
• Collaborate with product and UX designers on feature development

• 2-4 years of React development experience
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React Hooks skills
• Experience with real-time features (WebSockets, WebRTC)
• Knowledge of Redux or Zustand for state management
• Familiarity with WebRTC or video streaming SDKs is a big plus
• Eye for UI quality and attention to design fidelity
