Public Cloud Engineer

Texas Instruments is seeking a skilled Public Cloud Engineer to implement, automate, and operate the enterprise public cloud platform across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This role partners with the Public Cloud Architect to execute on platform strategy by building Terraform modules, CI/CD pipelines, policy-as-code controls, and Kubernetes configurations to enable consistent, governed cloud delivery at scale.

• Build and maintain Terraform modules for AWS landing zone components, including account vending, network baselines, and IAM Identity Center
• Implement and operate CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure delivery using GitOps practices
• Write and enforce policy-as-code controls such as AWS Config rules, SCPs, and OPA policies
• Deploy and manage EKS clusters including node configuration, add-on management, and upgrades
• Automate cloud operational tasks like account onboarding, compliance reporting, and quota management
• Implement cloud security controls including GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, and network security
• Support application teams with onboarding, troubleshooting, and platform guidance
• Contribute to multi-cloud extension, applying consistent patterns to Azure and GCP
• Monitor platform health, respond to incidents, and drive root cause resolution

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation, specifically Terraform
• Experience deploying and managing EKS clusters and container workloads
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices
• Familiarity with cloud security controls, policy-as-code, and compliance guardrails
• Experience working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
