MLOps / DevOps Engineer (AI)

MLOps / DevOps Engineer at Chopping Block responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure powering AI and machine learning products. Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and developers to streamline model development to production. Own CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, cloud infrastructure, and observability systems, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable AI workloads.

• Design, build, and maintain AI/ML infrastructure
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and developers to streamline deployment pipelines
• Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines for model and code releases
• Manage Kubernetes clusters serving machine learning models
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code for environment provisioning
• Monitor system performance and optimize cloud costs
• Establish security and compliance guardrails across environments
• Investigate production incidents, conduct blameless post‑mortems, and drive continuous improvement

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Hands‑on cloud infrastructure management (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Monitoring, observability, and performance tuning skills
• Security and compliance best practices in cloud environments
• Strong troubleshooting and incident‑response capabilities
