Lead Principal Software Developer responsible for mentoring engineering teams and designing highly scalable, distributed systems. Drives architecture decisions, identifies performance bottlenecks, and defines scalability requirements for hyper‑scale workloads. Leads the design of elastic, high‑impact systems, advances data plane platform innovation, and ensures fault‑tolerant, in‑service‑upgradable designs while optimizing resilience mechanisms such as load‑shedding, throttling, and rate‑limiting.
- Mentor engineering teams and guide architectural direction for scalable distributed systems
- Identify and eliminate performance and scalability bottlenecks in hyper‑scale workloads
- Define scalability requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
- Design elastic, high‑impact systems and innovate data plane platforms
- Oversee fault‑tolerant, in‑service‑upgradable system designs
- Optimize resilience mechanisms including load‑shedding, throttling, and rate‑limiting
- Set Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and ensure system reliability
