Innovaccer is hiring a Healthcare Interoperability Engineer to build the HL7 FHIR API gateway and EHR integration adapters connecting Innovaccer's platform with Epic, Cerner, and Athena EHR systems for 3,000+ US healthcare organisations.

  • Build FHIR R4 API adapters for Epic, Cerner, and Athena EHR integration
  • Implement SMART on FHIR OAuth authentication for patient app integration
  • Develop HL7 v2 ADT, ORM, and ORU message processing pipelines
  • Build HIPAA-compliant API gateway with audit logging
  • Support US EHR customer onboarding and integration testing
  • Produce healthcare interoperability technical documentation
  • 3–5 years healthcare interoperability engineering
  • FHIR R4 API implementation: SMART on FHIR and CDS Hooks
  • Epic and Cerner EHR API integration experience strongly preferred
  • HL7 v2 message parsing and transformation
  • Java or Python backend development
  • HIPAA-compliant API gateway design
